JDLD 2025 Competition Format
This competition is open to secondary and tertiary students and divided as follows:
AI chatbot development (70%)
Participants will receive training to build a no-code AI chatbot, including:
Introduction to AI chatbots and large language models (LLMs)
Development of no-code AI chatbot systems
Deployment of AI chatbots on a web interface
Before JDLD: Participants will receive sample data and materials for practice.
During JDLD: Participants will be given actual data and objectives to build their chatbots within a 2-hour timeframe.
After Development: Participants will present their chatbot functionalities to a judging panel for evaluation.
ICDL module (30%)
Participants will complete an internationally recognized ICDL Certification Module:
Secondary Level: Application Essentials module
Tertiary Level: Spreadsheets module
Each participant will receive an ICDL Module Pack before the event,
including self-paced eLearning materials for their respective module.
During JDLD 2025, participants will take the online certification test.
Upon passing, they will receive an eCertificate.
ICDL Competition Pathway
The top 2 participants representing each institution from the JDLD 2025 competition will receive free entry to the National Round of the ICDL Asia Digital Challenge 2025
This National Round will be conducted virtually in July 2025
Secondary modules: Artificial Intelligence + Big Data
Tertiary modules: Artificial Intelligence + Blockchain
