Tech Innovators Challenge: AI Edition is open to secondary, tertiary school students and adults. Individual contestants will compete among their peers in the respective category.
• Category 1: Secondary Students aged between 13 – 17* years old
• Category 2: Tertiary Students aged between 18 – 25 years old
• Category 3: Open category for individuals aged above 25 years old (ICT Educators & AI enthusiast)
*Students aged 17 years old who is in Junior College, Polytechnic or other vocational schools will fall under tertiary education.
All contestants are required to submit their registration and a competition registration fee of RM350 to ICDL Asia via their respective test centers by 4th of May 2024 to confirm the successful competition registration.
Additionally, for those interested in further preparation and skill development, 4 instructor-led sessions, with each session lasting 2 hours, can be arranged at an additional cost of RM750 per participant (pax). These sessions will provide valuable guidance and insights to enhance participants’ understanding of the competition topics and improve their skills.

The registration fee encompasses the following
• Competition entry fee for Tech Innovators Challenge: AI Edition
• ICDL Application Essential module pack (eLearning, diagnostic assessment and certification test)
• Artificial Intelligence Module Pack (eLearning, diagnostic assessment and certification test)
• Value-add online video training including exam preparation and learning material to kick-start artificial learning journey.
• Cognitive assessment focus on five key cognitive skillsets (Focus, Memory, Decision Making, Spatial Ability, and Cognitive Flexibility)
Contestants should also submit accurate information with the help of their National Operators or Accredited Test Centres, including name, date of birth, gender, territory, school, competition category and a profile photo. Contestants will be required to prove their student identity/ identity upon registration at the competition.
Other Details
• The Tech Innovators Challenge: AI Edition will be held in conjunction with Johor Digital Literacy Day 2024 at Sunway College Johor Bahru, Malaysia.
• Other than the competition registration fee, there is no additional entry fee required for contestants or attendees to participate in Johor Digital Literacy Day 2024.
• Flight tickets, accommodation costs, meal plans, and transportation to the competition and event site should be borne by the participants.
• The prize presentation ceremony to the award winners is scheduled to take place on the same day on 25 May 2024.
• In addition to the Tech Innovators Challenge: AI Edition competition, Johor Digital Literacy Day 2024 will also feature other programs such as digital expert keynotes, digital workshops, and technology showcases that are open to all.
