From Vision to Victory – The Highlights & Achievements of JDLD 2024
Johor Digital Literacy Day 2024, hosted at Sunway College Johor Bahru and organized by DEW Technology, brought together students and professionals from across Southeast Asia in a celebration of digital innovation, collaboration, and AI-driven solutions.
One of the key highlights of the event was the Tech Innovators Challenge: AI Edition — a regional competition designed to showcase young talent in the field of artificial intelligence. Participants from Malaysia, Singapore, and the Philippines took on challenges that tested their understanding of AI, digital tools, and real-world problem-solving.
As part of the challenge, competitors completed two internationally recognized modules — ICDL Application Essentials and Artificial Intelligence — demonstrating both technical skill and future-ready digital competency.

The challenge not only celebrated individual excellence but also reflected the growing momentum in digital education and AI adoption across the region. It served as a platform for participants to connect with peers, exchange ideas, and gain exposure to real-world applications of emerging technologies.
