David Leong is the principal lecturer in the School of Infocomm at Republic Polytechnic. David graduated from Monash University with a first-class degree in engineering and a master’s degree in engineering science. David is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), and an honorary advisor for Centre for AI Innovation (CEAI). David conducts research in machine learning, deep learning and natural language processing, having clinched research grants from the Ministry of Education (MOE), Singapore and Singapore Totalisator Board Social Innovation Research. David currently conducts training in AI.

Daniel Vong Wei Liang is an accomplished engineer and entrepreneur, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics) and Computer Science. He began his career as an Auditor with PwC (Singapore) before venturing into the realm of artificial intelligence (AI). As the Founder and President of the Asia AI Association, based in Singapore, he plays a pivotal role in advancing AI initiatives in the region. Teddy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and has a background in computer science from Hwa Chong Junior College, where he studied ‘A’ Level computer science. With a passion for education, Teddy has taught AI concepts and Python coding to students, aiming to empower them with essential skills. Additionally, he has experience teaching English and Maths at the primary school level. Teddy’s expertise extends to coding languages such as Python, Turbo Pascal, and Delphi.
